Room 12
Dance Like A Robot

During term 3 we learnt about different coding techniques. One of those is how to move like a robot in different directions and positions. We had lots of fun dressing up as Room 12 robots, we even made our own robot costumes for the movie.

In this episode of Room 29 Masterchef -- our contestants are challenged to make their best sandwich recipes. Stay tuned to find out who will be the next MasterChef!









Tamaki 1 Printing Fish

Under the water under the sea, lots of little fishies swimming by me. We had loads of fun using printing techniques to create fish in Tamaki 1.







Room 7 Colourful Yarn Printing

One day cardboard rollers and yarn were rolling around Room 7.  Some energetic kids were pulling the yarn, and others were rolling the rollers. Situated on the bench were 4 bottles of colourful paints,  AHA! A fun and colourful idea burst into flame!!!! What was it??? Stay put...and you will find it out….

What Is In Our Garden?





 We love playing, digging and planting in our class garden but there are never any birds in there. We made a plan to fix that. We built our own bird boxes in woodwork so we could bring birds to the garden. 










What Makes Us Happy






Having fun at Sommerville makes us happy! Here are the students of Te Kohanga doing what they love to do best. We were lucky to have a trip to ‘Flow’ so we could use all of their equipment to showcase our skills.

Disability Connect are delighted to announce the Disability Awareness Day will be held on 13th April 2019 from 10am-3pm at St Kentigern College, Pakuranga.  This stallholder event is free to attend and showcases the various providers involved in providing support to people with disablilities . There will be performances from people with disabilties and different cultures. There will also be activities for children (e.g. balloon twisting, face painting).
