In Room 9 we are happy learning with our friends and teachers at Sommerville! We enjoy all sorts of activities, moving our bodies in PMP, having fun painting and exploring costumes and toys in developmental!
Our movie is about "How to Calm Down". If you're feeling angry, if you're feeling sad or if you feel like crying you just need to Stop, Breath and Count to 10. Enjoy our movie!
We love playing, digging and planting in our class garden but there are never any birds in there. We made a plan to fix that. We built our own bird boxes in woodwork so we could bring birds to the garden.
Having fun at Sommerville makes us happy! Here are the students of Te Kohanga doing what they love to do best. We were lucky to have a trip to ‘Flow’ so we could use all of their equipment to showcase our skills.
We hope you enjoy watching as much as we enjoyed making this.
Having a class theme song here at Sylvia Park Juniors reminds each student that they are the ‘sunshine’ who makes the people around them feel happy and hopeful. So don’t forget to smile, be happy and warm like a ray of sun!
Hello Everyone, We are here from Sommerville's Stonefields Satellite Class. Come with us to help Hal find the Sun. It is dark and we can not see if from our bedroom at night. Where could it be?
Our movie from Te Hapori is about measuring in woodwork. We learnt about centimeters and millimeters so we could cut the wood correctly to make our bird houses. Hope you enjoy it.
