Fwd: Anchorage Park Room 1 @ Sommerville Special School] Wacky Hair Wednesday!

Anchorage Park had Wacky Hair Wednesday to raise money for children with cancer. We wore mufti and had crazy hair, wigs or silly hats. We had so much fun!

Rose Anne had some silver glitter hairspray that some people wanted as a reward for great work. Peni and India wanted sparkly hair, Matt and Wilson had wigs, India had a big yellow bow and Senele and Opi wore cool mufti.

Fwd: [Edgewater 3 Seniors @ Sommerville Special School] Swimming on Wednesdays

SWIMMING ON WEDNESDAYS.

Our Social Swimming trips to the Glen Innes pools every Wednesday are a chance for us to get to know each other better and to practice our learning goals of:

A) Traveling safely as a class and
B) Behaving appropriately in a public place.

This is a Leisure Skills Unit that aims to introduce students to the center where we will do our swimming training later this year.

We will give students the opportunity to try out the lap pool and the leisure pool. We will explore the sensory experiences offered by the spa pool, steam room and sauna.

We aim to be good citizens in this public space and want to practice safe traveling behaviours so we can go on lots of class trips to exciting places this year.

Bring your togs and towel on Wednesdays.
